Meet The Team

Adam is Heatsmart’s main service engineer and, while not related, he’s very much part of the Heatsmart family. He joined the team as an apprentice in 2024 and quickly proved himself through his hard work, thorough approach, and drive to keep improving. Adam carries out the majority of our servicing with real care and attention to detail, helping ensure every appliance is running safely and efficiently. Trained by Kieran, he showed genuine determination and pride throughout his apprenticeship, and he’s now focused on progressing his career with the goal of becoming a breakdown and repair engineer in the future.

Heatsmart is a proud family run business, founded in 2002 by owners Mike and Sharon (Husband and Wife). Mike began his career with British Gas in 1982, completing his apprenticeship straight from school and spending over 25 years progressing through servicing, installation, breakdown and repair, before becoming an Area Manager. With decades of hands on experience and industry knowledge, he set out to build a business that delivers the same high standards of workmanship and customer care every day. Sharon is the friendly, familiar voice in the office who many customers speak to when booking appointments, and she has worked alongside Mike from the start to help shape Heatsmart into what it is today. Together, they’ve built a company based on trust, quality, and genuine pride in doing the job properly.

Kieran represents the future of Heatsmart and is our lead service and breakdown engineer. After leaving school at 16, he chose to commit to the family business, becoming Heatsmart’s first official apprentice in 2011, a decision that has shaped both his career and the company’s continued success. Trained closely by his father, Mike, Kieran has earned a strong reputation for his meticulous, methodical approach to servicing and repairing gas appliances. His depth of knowledge and diagnostic skill enable him to resolve around 90% of boiler issues on the first visit, delivering swift, dependable results when customers need them most. Over the years, Kieran has become an indispensable part of Heatsmart. His friendly, professional manner, combined with consistently high standards of workmanship, has made him a familiar and trusted presence in our customers’ homes so much so that, for many, Kieran has become just as well known and relied upon as Mike himself.

Jason is our lead installer and a hugely valued part of the Heatsmart team. Sharon’s brother, Jason has been with us since 2007, completing his training with Heatsmart and building a strong reputation for being hard-working, reliable, and proud of every job he delivers. He takes real care in every new boiler installation, treating each home with respect and ensuring customers feel looked after throughout the process. Trained by Mike and driven by his own high standards, Jason consistently delivers quality workmanship and finishes every install to a standard he’s genuinely proud of.
